Donuts

I love donuts.  Mike loves donuts.  It's only natural Cadence must love donuts!  This saturday we tested that theory with a Donut and Chocolate milk date.  It was a success to say the least!  I couldn't even get sat down to enjoy mine when Cadence was chiming in that she wanted more!!

Pigtails!

When I was pregnant with Cadence her hair showed up a lot on ultrasound.  I also had a ton of heartburn!  So much the pharmacist where I worked, laughed one day and said your child is gonna have the strongest teeth and bones ever! (From the calcium from all the Tums I ate!)  When she was born I expected tons of hair!  Nope she had old man hair!  None in the front with a bit in the back.  Over the months she has grown quite the mullet!  Business in the front, party in the back!!!  

I have tried to put in those cute side pigtails for a while.  Yesterday, finally, after trying different hairbands... We have pigtails!!!

Smoothies!

Cadence and I have really been getting into drinking smoothies.  Up until now she only had 2 teeth (she is getting 3 this week!!!) and I am running out of food to give her and I really want her to get her fruits and veggies.  There is just something so cute about a little girl drinking a big 'ol smoothie!!

Hunting Practice

Cadence was of course too young last year for hunting eggs.  This year, she totally gets it!  We have been practicing around the house.  She is really gonna love it on Easter when there are treats in the eggs!!
